About Airwing Stitchery Services
Airwing Stitchery Services is a veteran-owned small business based in Malaga, Washington, specializing in custom embroidery, direct-to-film (DTF) garment printing, custom patches, and commercial upholstery. We serve businesses, government agencies, clubs, organizations, and individuals by providing high-quality decorated apparel, hats, promotional products, and durable upholstery solutions for automotive, marine, and commercial applications. Our focus is on small to medium production runs, fast turnaround times, personalized service, and quality craftsmanship with careful attention to detail.
I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1979 as an Avionics Technician, including an assignment at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma in Okinawa, Japan. I served in both the 3rd Marine Air Wing (MAW) and the 1st MAW during my time in service. Also, the MAW inspired my business name of Airwing Stitchery Services. My military service instilled the values of discipline, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail that continue to guide my work today. Those principles are the foundation of Airwing Stitchery Services and my commitment to delivering quality workmanship, dependable service, and treating every customer with professionalism and respect.
After being laid off following a long career in enterprise IT, I wasn't ready to sit still. I've always enjoyed building, fixing, and creating things with my hands, and I wanted to build something that was truly my own. What started as an interest in upholstery has grown into a business offering custom embroidery on apparel, patches, DTF printing, and laser engraving. Every project is an opportunity to create something customers are proud to wear or use. Airwing Stitchery Services is more than a business to me. It's a second career built on craftsmanship, integrity, and taking care of my customers.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been building Airwing Stitchery Services from the ground up after transitioning from a career in enterprise IT. Over the past several years, I have continued investing in commercial embroidery equipment, DTF printing technology, and upholstery services to better serve customers throughout the region. I take pride in providing personalized service, supporting other small businesses, and delivering quality work on every project, whether it's a single custom item or a larger production order. Helping fellow veterans, local organizations, and community groups with apparel, patches, and custom projects is especially rewarding. Every satisfied customer and repeat order is a milestone that motivates me to continue growing the business.
